using our website
Our website is provided for general information about Lumina Chiropractic, our approach to care, and how to book an appointment with us. You're welcome to browse, read, and share our content, but please don't copy, reproduce, or reuse our text, images, or branding without our permission.
The information on this website, including anything about health, chiropractic care, or our approach, is provided for general interest and does not replace individual clinical advice. If you have specific health concerns, please book an appointment or speak with a healthcare professional directly.
accuracy and availability
We do our best to keep the information on our website accurate and up to date, but we can't guarantee it's always complete or error-free. We also can't guarantee the website will always be available or free from technical issues, though we'll do our best to fix any problems as quickly as we can.
third-party links and services
Our website links to, or uses, a small number of third-party services, including Google Maps, Google Fonts, and PracticeHub (our booking platform). When you interact with these, their own terms and privacy policies apply. Full detail is in our Cookie Policy.
booking through our website
Clicking "book" on our website takes you to PracticeHub, a separate booking platform. Your booking is made subject to PracticeHub's own terms, in addition to our Practice Terms and Conditions below.

limitation of liability
We're not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website, except where this can't be excluded under UK law (for example, in cases of fraud, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence).
governing law
These website terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
practice terms and conditions
These terms apply once you book an appointment or become a patient of Lumina Chiropractic.
booking appointments
Appointments can be booked through PracticeHub, by phone, or by WhatsApp. Please arrive a few minutes ahead of your appointment time where possible, especially for your first visit, to allow time to settle in.
fees and payment
Our current fees are available on request, or via our booking platform. Payment is due at the time of your appointment unless otherwise agreed. We accept contactless, card, and cash.
cancellations and missed appointments
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or rearrange your visit. Full details are set out in our separate Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
consent to care
Before any assessment or care begins, we'll explain what's involved and ask for your consent. You're free to ask questions at any point, and you can withdraw your consent at any time, including during a session. Consent is documented as part of your patient record, in line with General Chiropractic Council guidance.
confidentiality and your records
Your personal and health information is kept confidential and handled in line with UK data protection law. Full detail on what we collect, why, and how long we keep it is set out in our separate Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
our professional standards
Lumina Chiropractic is registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC), the statutory regulator for chiropractors in the UK, and holds appropriate professional indemnity insurance. We're committed to providing safe, evidence-informed, and patient-centred care.
if you're unhappy with your care
We hope this is never needed, but if you have any concerns about your care or experience with us, please raise them with us directly in the first instance, so we have the chance to understand and address them.
If you remain unhappy, you have the right to raise a complaint with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC), our statutory regulator, at gcc-uk.org.
changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent version. Continuing to use our website or attend appointments after changes are made means you accept the updated terms.
